Responsibilities –

· ASIC architecture research, analysis and specification development

· Responsible for the architecture and implementation of key system level functions as well as designing key blocks within these systems.

· Working closely with system architects, system engineers to specify and design many aspects of the ASIC/SoC based on Power, Performance, and Area constraints

· High performance and high-quality ASIC/SoC design & development from specification

· IP evaluation, verification, and integration

· Perform ASIC verification, synthesis, scan stitching, test coverage &timing analysis

· Development of timing constraints for successful physical implementation and timing closure

· Place-n-Route support

· Mentor and bring up junior designers

Required Skills –

· Strong track record of ASIC design from concept to mass production

· Should be capable of developing detailed written specifications based on product requirements

· Able to translate system level specifications into block level budgets and specifications

· Hands-on experience in RTL development and IP block development

· Strong skills in integration of IP blocks into ASIC/ SoCs

· Strong overview of ASIC/ SoC design flow from architecture to silicon validation

· Ability to work simultaneously on many projects and set priorities and work to a project schedule

· Team player, fluent in English, very good oral and written communications skills

· Ability to prioritize tasks keeping timelines and deliverable quality in mind

· BE/BTECH or above

Preferred Qualifications –

· Familiar with C programming or scripting

· Ability to develop, document, rationalize and present system requirements to a diverse audience of engineers

· Ability to work across multi-cultural teams

· Familiarity with processors-based design

· Understanding of system and product costs and options (e.g. component costs, packaging options)
